Is Surplus an expense tracker?

No. Trackers look back and ask you to log every purchase. Surplus looks ahead from your balances and your plan.

Do you connect to my bank?

No. We never ask for bank credentials. You update balances yourself and can import statements. CSV and XLSX statements are read on your device.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU (Google Cloud, Belgium). We do not sell it and we show no ads.

Can I use it with my partner?

Yes. Invite the people you share money with to your household.

Which devices are supported?

iOS, Android and the web app, all kept in sync.
